Wedding Wars

Gay marriage may be legal in some countries but that doesn’t make it accepted by all of the citizens. In Canada, one of the churches is headed for a schism over it. In America, there are movements to amend the constitution to prohibit it. Along comes this little fable of a movie to show viewers that allowing it won’t end civilization as we know it. Shel Grandy (John Stamos) is hired by his brother Ben (Eric Dane) to plan his wedding to Maggie Welling (Bonnie Somerville), the daughter of Governor Conrad Weilling (James Brolin) who has come out publicly against gay marriage. Being gay, Shel decides to take a stand and goes on strike. Little does he know how far it will spread.
