I’ve always wanted to be a backup singer. Preferably for one of those groups that wears flashy suits and dances in sync. It doesn’t matter that I can’t carry a tune, I sound darn good in the shower. But to do it in public, I dunno. However when Imogen (Julia Stiles) lipsync’s to Al Green’s Let’s Stay Together and dances down her college dorm hallway surrounded by all of her neighbours, I have second thoughts and want to dust off the pipes.
