Just Friends (2005)

Most people see the fat kids as a source of amusement and ridicule. Their feelings are treated by others like those of a cartoon character. Jamie Palamino (Amy Smart), the ex-cheerleader, thinks of Chris Brander (Ryan Reynolds) as a friend while he’s pining away in unrequited love for her. She can’t see past her memories of him and he’s now ready to take a shot if only the proper moment comes along.
