Drop Zone

The new guy is always a target for fun and frolics. Sometimes the tormentors make a mistake. They pick on someone who is able to teach them a lesson in etiquette. Pete Nessip (Wesley Snipes) drops by a jumper bar and plops himself down at a vacant table. But it seems that table is the regular spot for a rowdy team who think they’ll teach him a lesson. Sadly for them, the fight is going badly until Jessie Crossman (Yancy Butler) intervenes to save them from having some appendage broken more than once.

Muriel's Wedding

When faced with a serious medical condition, everybody wonders what caused it. Sometimes the reason is obvious, sometime it isn’t and we grab at straws in order to explain how this could of happened. Rhonda Epinstalk (Rachel Griffiths) is one of these people. She has been diagnosed with a cancerous spinal tumour which is pressing on the nerves and resulting in her legs being paralysed. She thinks she knows why. She believes having too much sex is the reason. Sounds reasonable, don’t you think?

Stargate

It is hard to convince your colleagues that what conventional wisdom and history has thought to be true isn’t the case. Galileo Galilei and Nicolaus Copernicus were punished for their findings. The same has happened to archaeologist Dr. Daniel Jackson (James Spader) who posits that the pyramids were not built by man, but by an extraterrestrial force. He’s hired to decipher a set of symbols found on the cover stones of an ancient ring-shaped artifact. The result unlocks the secret to interstellar travel, plus four live action TV series along with an animated one.
